Welcome to the Level Creek Science Fair site!
Dear Level Creek Parents,
Welcome to the Level Creek Science Fair website! Science fairs are a great way for students to ask scientific questions and investigate things that interest them the most.
Students will have the opportunity to create a science project that uses the scientific method to solve a problem. There are many educational benefits to participating in science fairs, as students develop skills in writing, creative thinking, analyzing information and problem solving.
Our website will guide you and your child through the various steps of participating in the science fair.
Please read through the Science Fair packet found under the FORMS section of this website. This will give you and your child all the necessary information regarding project guidelines. Please remember that the projects must fall within Gwinnett County rules. We encourage students to participate in this event; however, we are unable to give project ideas. We have provided several links ( under the LINKS tab) that will take you to websites that can help your child with age appropriate projects that are within the guidelines.
If your child is interested, please complete and return the "Intent to Participate" form. This can be found under the "Forms" tab of this website. Participation forms are due Friday October 12th. Please help your child complete the form and return to their homeroom teacher.
We request that you encourage your child and monitor his/her progress. Your support and guidance is important; however, the final project should reflect your child's individual effort and design.
All projects are due Wednesday December 5th, and will be on display at the Fine Arts Night. Fine Arts Night is scheduled for Tuesday December 11th.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to seeing all the amazing science projects our young scientists will come up with!
